Calvary Chapel is an evangelical, inter-denominational church with a global vision realized through balanced, steadfast commitment
to the leading and calling of God. We desire to be a growing spiritual influence in our community and to let the Spirit of God
lead our lives and services.
Evangelical
We are a Bible-based fellowship.
Interdenominational
We recognize and welcome the unique ways
in which God has spoken to His people in the past. (former church setting, upbringing, special experience) and further recognize that
each member has a viable function within the setting of the local church.
Global
We intend to reach out to every corner of the world
through the support of Missionaries and by encouraging and leading mission trips of our own.
Biblical Education/Discipleship
We are
committed to preaching and teaching the Word of God as the inerrant, infallible authority of our Faith. The application of the Word
(discipleship) is stressed as the most important factor in Christian growth.
Evangelism
We believe the Great Commission can only be
accomplished one way; by telling people about Jesus! Believers are encouraged to share their faith whenever the opportunity presents
itself.
Relational
We are the Body of Christ! Fellowship runs deeper than one to three meetings a week. We will be spending eternity
together, therefore, we learn much about God by the way we relate to one another. We encourage believers to "hang out" together, to
eat meals together, to participate in leisure activity together, to do the Lord's work together.
