Pastor Stroup was born and raised in Danville, IN and has the somewhat distinct privilege of pastoring in his hometown. Without religious background, he was surprised to meet the Lord shortly before his 20th birthday after several years of alcohol and drug abuse. In his own words:
"God has graciously and patiently loved me over the years and has given me my hearts desire in a beautiful wife; Lori, and two fine sons: Jonathan and David. It is our desire to be a blessing to the Central Indiana community and to serve this wonderful church where we have been planted."
